Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have not yet completed an independent accessibility audit, so we do not claim full conformance.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure and labelled navigation landmarks
- A “Skip to main content” link and full keyboard access to menus and forms
- Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
- Text and background colours chosen to meet contrast guidelines
- Information that is never conveyed by colour alone; for example, every Safety Meter level has a text label, number and symbol
- Diagrams built from real text, with descriptions for screen-reader users
- Layouts that adapt to small screens and to browser zoom
- Reduced motion for visitors who have asked their device to minimise animation
- Form fields with visible labels and clear error messages
Known limitations
Our content is currently available in English only. We intend to provide materials in additional languages, including Urdu, as our resources develop.
